Today Monetate acquired Simon AI, the agentic platform built on the AI-first composable CDP. Joining our two companies and platforms creates the solution our industry has been waiting for, and I don’t say that lightly.
For a decade, brands have been promised the same two things: a single view of the customer and real-time relevance in every channel. And for a decade, most of them have been handed integration projects instead. Customer data lived in one system, the website in another, email and ads in a third. The surface customers see most, the site and the app, was the surface lifecycle teams could influence least. Everyone knew what “good” looked like. Almost no one could ship it.
That ends today. By uniting Monetate and Simon AI, everything a brand knows about a customer now shapes every send and every session, connected out of the box and working from day one. No eighteen-month systems integration. No stitching. Two market-leading platforms, connected.

What each side brings
Monetate is the leader in AI-powered digital and omnichannel personalization, experimentation, and experience optimization. We create more than 100 million personalized sessions a day for hundreds of the world’s leading brands. Our products are trusted where the stakes are highest: Symphony for AI-driven content, product recommendations, and 1:1 personalization across web, mobile, app, and store; Maestro for experimentation; Forte for patented, zero-flicker delivery in the most secure and regulated environments; Glasshouse for agentic AI governance; and MONET AI, the agentic engine that powers all of it, backed by an extensive patent library.
Simon AI brings the intelligence layer we’ve been missing. A live, warehouse-native unified customer profile that models identity accurately across every online and offline source. Activation across more than 100 marketing channels through an integrated journey builder. And an agentic, prompt-driven interface sitting over live customer data and real-world signals such as inventory, price changes, breaking news, and localized weather.
Jason Davis and Matt Walker spent more than a decade building that intelligence. When Jason and I first sat down, we started with one question: What would a platform that optimizes every digital experience actually look like? The more we talked, the more obvious it became that we were building two halves of the same platform. So we brought them together.
We’re changing how AI-based technology gets built, deployed, used, and supported
This is bigger than a feature list. The way personalization technology reaches a marketing team has been broken for years. Here’s what we’re changing.
How it’s built. Both platforms are architected on the same modern, cloud-native stacks, with zero-copy integration into the data clouds brands already run: Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery. That shared foundation is why the two products connect out of the box instead of through a services engagement. Every recommendation, test, and message now draws on precise identity resolution and attributes that predict churn risk and lifetime value, not guesses.
How it’s deployed. A fully programmatic integration is live today. The audiences and signals you build in Simon AI can drive Monetate experiences and experiments right now. And with Forte’s patented delivery, that runs in PCI- and HIPAA-regulated environments, on-premise, in the cloud, or hybrid, with zero flicker. Deployment stops being the thing that delays value.
How it’s used. We’re putting an out-of-the-box, prompt-driven interface over the whole thing, with zero learning curve, instruction-based deployment, and discovery capabilities that reason about funnel gaps, underperforming channels, and opportunities to grow revenue and lifetime value. A brand goes from goal to live campaign in one conversation. Small teams get to perform like much larger ones.
How it’s supported. This is where the resource story matters most. This acquisition comes with a significant injection of growth capital, and we are tripling our investment across both platforms, in product development and in our Concierge and strategic services teams worldwide. Bringing both companies together gives us full global reach, a much larger team, and always-on AI agents providing 24/7 guidance alongside deep human expertise. At the exact moment agentic capabilities are changing what’s possible for marketers, we’re staffing and funding the support that teams need to actually adopt AI and see measurable results. And to be clear on governance: every AI-driven decision runs under Glasshouse observability and validation. Agentic and accountable.
What this means, wherever you’re starting from
If you already run Monetate or Simon AI, this compounds what you have today. If you’re evaluating the market, it’s worth understanding why this combination stands alone.
If you run personalization and recommendations on Symphony today. Every recommendation and 1:1 experience across web, mobile, app, and store can now be informed by warehouse-resolved identity, lifetime-value signals, and real-world context. Symphony already decides what each customer sees in the moment. Now it decides using everything a brand knows about that customer and what is true right now, not just on-session behavior. The sessions you already run convert harder.
If you run experimentation on Maestro today. Every test can now be powered by warehouse-resolved identity, lifetime-value signals, and real-world context such as breaking news and shifting social trends. You stop testing creative variants in isolation and start testing against what is actually true about each customer, right now. The result is faster learning and tests that translate into revenue and lifetime value, not just win rates.
If you run on Forte in a regulated or secure environment today. You can get the same connected intelligence without compromising on compliance or performance. Personalization and experimentation driven by resolved identity and real-world signals run under Forte’s patented, zero-flicker delivery in PCI- and HIPAA-regulated environments, on-premise, in the cloud, or hybrid. The most secure teams no longer have to trade governance for relevance.
If you’re a Simon AI customer. The customer data you’ve unified on Simon AI’s composable CDP can finally act on the surface customers see most. The audiences and signals you already build drive live Monetate on-site experiences and experiments today, and what happens on-site flows back to shape the next email, the next ad, the next journey. Your customer intelligence no longer stops at the edge of the website, and because Simon AI is warehouse-native, the data stays where it already lives.
If you’re evaluating the market. No one else brings these together. Most vendors hand you a single piece — on-site testing, or a CDP, or a journey tool — and leave the integration to you. Monetate and Simon AI are two category leaders connected out of the box: one platform that unifies customer data, understands behavior, acts across every channel, and governs every AI decision. That is the combination brands have been promised for a decade and handed integration projects instead. It’s live today, not a roadmap.
What this means for our customers
If you’re a Monetate or Simon AI customer, three things matter right now.
Nothing breaks. Both platforms continue as individual products, with dedicated teams and roadmaps. There is no disruption, and both teams keep bringing new customers onto the products they already trust.
You get value on day one. The integration is ready today. Your site starts treating customers like it knows them. The audiences and signals you already built decide what a shopper sees, and the experience reacts in real time. When a shopper acts, the next page view changes, not the next campaign.
And the results are already real. Simon AI customers report significant gains specifically from using agentic workflows on live, complete customer data and contextual signals. For example, a leading live-entertainment marketplace achieved a 70% performance lift matching fans to events with AI agents. And personalized campaigns are launching 10× faster because agents are doing the hard data exploration, attribute building, and activation. We can now bring outcomes like these to your site and your app through the Monetate products.
What’s next
The integration between Monetate and Simon AI will keep expanding alongside new features in the coming months. We’re rolling out our first incentive program, and your Concierge and account contacts will be reaching out. Our shared philosophy is show, don’t tell, so we’ll put innovation in your hands as early as we can and let the results speak for themselves.
I want to personally welcome Jason, Matt, and the entire Simon AI team to Monetate. Jason is one of the sharpest founders in this space, and he’ll continue to lead Simon AI, a Monetate company, in close partnership with me. Together we intend to define this category for the next decade.
To our customers and partners who got us here: thank you. Reach out to me or your contact at Monetate or Simon AI anytime. We can’t wait to show you what comes next.
