I wonder if the poorer conversion rates and higher bounce rates in mobile and tablet are reflecting the lack of mobile or tablet support/specific design for the respective medium.

  Kevin, very good theory for sure. What we see and hear from our clients as well is that the mobile (smartphone experience) is really centered around research and driving conversion in-store while tablet is and will continue to rival desktop conversion rates. Thanks for stopping by!
